I'm new to the FINAL FANTASY world....started playing the 1st game yesterday?

But it seems like there is an anime and a lot many movies of FF...i'd like to watch them...can anyone please tell me where do i start with - the anime or the movies....if its the movies then from which movie should i begin watching?...and please give me the perfect list of the FF movies....many on yahoo answers say that there are only two movies - the spirits within and the advent children which is FF VII.....where are FF I, FF II, FF III, FF IV, FF V and FF VI then?.....and where does FF XIII come into?.........
