Is This Old Image Supposed to be an Orchestra Conductor?

Hi there! This is, most certainly, a great block but I do not think that it is a conductor. To me, it looks like a man with a cane and maybe a top hat. That was in style in the old days. I love this photo and, maybe, if you rolled some ink on it and printed it on a paper, it may look different and you can figure out what it is. Good luck and have a great day!
